The Castle Hotel in Hatton was run as a pub and hotel for many years but with the owners retiring the business went up for sale. The business was on the market for seven years as a going concern but with no purchasers coming forward to buy the property and keep running it as business in this time frame, we took the opportunity to acquire the property.
After 12 months of negotiations, planning and putting together the necessary drawings, we are now pressing on through the planning permission process.
The application has gone in for 13 large, high end apartments. Work towards getting the required planning permission is ongoing, but we wanted to give a sneak peak of what the finished product will look like if all goes to plan.
The below visualisation was created by our architect, Wilson Architects. The shell of the property remains, keeping intact an historic building for the local area, but giving it a fresh lease of life.
We are eagerly awaiting planning to come back positively so we can really get stuck into this exciting project!
